Iv noticed that there are about 20,000 less players than a year ago.
How are we gunna get more players? Is dust on its last leg?

20 000 = DUST + EvE , not dust
Dust ~ 4000 total maybe in a day . but usually ~ 2000 at a given moment.

I'm not leaving dust. I just dont have time. 50-60 hours studying every week = only 1 hour of play over the weekend.

It's been averaging 2132 total (edit: maximum, not total) a day for the last year
average is 2053 maximum a day for the last three months

I read some great suggestions from people about giving newberries more starting SP, a free respect after so long of playing the game, and a proper tutorial.
Doing this would be a good start.
Also, I think there should be an ingame link to certain parts of the forum so players can easily seek advice from veterans. |

I feel 10 mail is a good amount of starting SP helps you get your cores and stuff like that early on. |

Lowering the multiplier for Engineering and Electronics down to 1x would be a good idea.
There should be a rookie channel in game where veteran players with Eve characters can petition for moderation rights.

How to divide newbs vs pro players. That probably only half the problem i figure the other half is advertising but i wouldnt do that untill the game has balanced the first part out.

I track the concurrent login stats on Eve Offline. When Warlords 1.2 dropped on July 7th our 1 year average concurrent logins sat at 2,333. As of today that number sits at 2,132. A 201 player difference in 101 days. The Amarr Challenge event did see a slight increase, but overall our population is dwindling.
Without a port to put this game on a current gen platform we are only going to see these numbers get worse.

When k first played dust, there were max up to 60k + people on tranquility. I thought they were all dust but eve pilots included.

We lived in a high sec system that was adjacent to a low sec "alley" of systems. We would do roams, but rarely found anyone to blap.

Meh. The Exodus happened during Rogue Wedding. Flocks and flocks left then. You had some people stay because of Ratman.
The truth is, so many people left for PS4, especially during last years Holidays and during this year. Sony dropping the PS4s to 350, Battlefront, upcoming Christmas and talks that 2016 is the last year of PS3.

Only to sort my life out. I have way too much to do, and dust just can't fit in.
I'm still on the forums every now and then when I'm omw home/ to school.
