This has been happening to me a lot lately, not only after downtime though. One of the symptoms is not being able to send msgs in chat channels, then when I go to join a battle it will prompt "No Battle Available".

I hope CCP has stats on each characters SP totals and how much SP was earned through boosters, that way if they have to do a AUR refund on Merc packs they can just respec each character and take away all 'booster SP'.

There should be start in vehicle spawn option. Dropships could deploy from the MCC, LAVs and HAVs could start from deployment areas. Hell they could create a vehicle deployment drop link for a quicker deployment of land vehicles.
