Thedeathnote isn't a bad player or person. Just a bit misguided. He just wants to beat you fair and square. AR vs. AR. Straight up aiming a milisecond faster. Which is fine... except this game is intended to be deeper than that.

Personally I use the MD because I think that it is rigged. I don't care about being a better player than anyone else, I think that if I make better choices with my build that it is equally as valid as having better aim.

And this game would suck if I was aiming down scope trying to kill people. Lets be honest... Trying to make a small adjustment on a DS3 controller makes the limitations of the game in it's current state odvious. It is nowhere near as smooth as CoD. As a straight up shooter this game is inferior. With the MD I don't run into this issue as much. I can use strafe to make my shots more accurate, which is a great deal better than trying to move the right stick.

For some strange reason they decided to tie the DS3 aiming to the PS move limitations. This was a poor choice. Motion capture devices do not work as well as controllers or mice. They should be implemented as a novelty, not as the baseline. Until the technology catches up with analog input, CCP should not be basing their gameplay on some sideshow PS move controller(I make these assumptions based on the PS move deadzone settings) that at the moment can't compete with the standard control scheme for every other FPS.

Sidetracked... But this is the real issue with the game. If I could aim down scope and make fine adjustments like I would be able to in any true FPS, I would live in thedeathnote's world. But that isn't the state of the game. And all the other complaints he has stem back to the real probem with the game... which is that even if he shoots better, he is going to lose because of game mechanics.

you need to play with the MD dude trust me there are far more tactics involved in that weapon then the AR. Any good AR player will tell you the same thing they do much better with the AR then MD, due to limited ammo and the extremely situational nature of it(never mind its having the worst DPS on the field).

As for the HMG trust me you have to be way more accurate with that then with an AR, you only need 4-10 good hits with the AR, with the HMG you have to be dead on, hell Ive seen ARs go toe to toe with heavies and win easy.

you seem, despite making your self look like an insulting idiot, to have some good ideas and have the right idea of where this game should go, but you need to start testing these weapons before you complain about them.

I have used every weapon in the game and most are extremely dangerous in the right situations, but despite hating the play style I use the AR because it is the only weapon flexible enough to to dominate the battlefield under any condition, and it still has more then enough power to out fight even the most OP weapon in their own sweat spots(WTE sniper whos sweat spot is out of the range of EVERY THING).

really spend a point into each weapon and give it a whirl, if nothing else it makes you a better player as it gives you the knowledge to out think your opponent that much better, I have a KDR against LARs, MDs, FGs, HMGs, SGs, SP, SMGs then my over all KDR, becuase they all have glaring weaknesses and I know how to use that against them.

I will agree that HMGs need a range nerf but if you are staying in a HMG stream for longer then 5 sec or half your shield you are wrong, they get extremely accurate half way thru the clip and even more so if the heavy is smart enough to crouch, that should stay but initial spread and optimal need a small nerf in favor of a damage buff.

6. Why can't I move? Oh I'm on a hill, people can't climb hills. WTF

7. I'm in a tank and my target says I'm on the tank in front of me and I shoot until I overheat but the enemy tank takes no damage. Oh I'm on a 6 inch hill so I am over-shooting him but my target is right on him. WTF

8. I am in my armor tank and turn on 3-4 25% damage reducers. I am now all but invincible for 60 seconds then 15 seconds cool-down and I'm invincible again. WTF

9. Why am I moving so slow on foot or in a tank? Oh it's the magic honey hill, touch it and slow to a crawl. WTF

10. DID THAT DRUNK F*^%** DRIVING THE RDD REALLY FLY RIGHT INTO THE WALL FOR THE 100TH TIME? SEND HIM TO DRIVING SCHOOL BEFORE YOU LET HIM BRING IN MY TANK. WTF
