OP has a valid point, to a certain extent. I personally don't just "logi" when I logi, sometimes being a good bro means clearing the reds so you can rep, revive, and resupply. I got plenty of gear for the killer events, which helps me stay fitted ...

The smg is hands down the easiest to use most reliable sidearm, skill it up, get into proficiency and you can run it just about anywhere. Use the assault variant and you get a mini light weapon with range and dps that works well
