I was in a squad with some random blueberry. He left early on in the match and I didn't realize I was alone until I died. Well, when I gained 2500 WP, the notice for the OB came up even though I was the only one in the squad.
Wanting to test it out, I waited until the opposing team began to hack the objective and I then called it in. To my surprise, it worked. I successfully dropped a solo orbital and killed myself and several reds in the process.
I didn't know this was possible.... |

The worst thing is when U get more then 2k WP playing solo without squad, U create squad during game, U break 2,5k WP and... Nothing happens. CCP is there any way for fixing this? |

Personal best so far is 2. You have to be in a squad for it to work, so create one and join. You will be by yourself and will still gain an orbital if you make 2500+ WP. I have found a system that works and last night I made almost 700K ISK running solo. I have become a WP ***** and once you understand how to farm WP's it is an awesome thing. So congrats on your solo OB. I like to drop mine on tanks and annoying groups of proto stompers. Here is a way to really maximize the points, have someone place a rep tool on you when you drop. They get guardian points and it so much easier to get another one if you are running with a friend.

I get 2500 wp often, I'm usually solo so I can't call the ob.. I found out awhile ago if you don't create/ join squad u can't call in an ob. Good job though.

How did you not know that 2500 WP while in a squad gives you an OB?

I always run in a solo squad when i solo just in case i get enough war points. I just have the problem sometime of when i do get enough war points i dont notice it and forget to use it :(

It's not that I didn't know you needed 2500 WP. It's just that I was always under the impression that there needed to be at least two people in the squad for it to work.. |

Yep it can be done. I used to get a whole bunch of those in 1.7. It was crazy. I got two in one match. Back in 1.7, all you needed was a CalLogi and a RR.

Roger. I thought it was all new and you are an active participant in the forums.
Yes, it's fun to solo OB's. I find the best way to get there is vehicle damage and hacks and uplinks.

GG I forget to put up a squad when I'm soloing I usually can get it solo if I'm a logi, It's even more rewarding if i get it as primarily a slayer(40+ kills and a little extra WP) |

1. You're very late to the party...
2. As long as you are a squad lead, you can drop your OB if the 2500WP are gained BEFORE you make yourself the SL.
3. Congratulations. I remember my first solo OB. I posted the screen shots on Twitter. Then I'd post every solo OB I got from then on... until I realized nobody cared! I did it all with a Stable Drop Uplink too, I was a sucha bad azz |
