Just because you show up on tacnet when in range of the enemy doesn't mean this should turn into My Little Pony. I can see using a more aggressive color palette but bright, happy sunshine colors is lame.

The rough data on Singularity is hinting at bonuses. Amarr Assault get heat reduction for laser weapons, Minmatar Scout get melee and knife damage bonus, all Logistics get armor repair bonus, etc.
