The only way to avoid the overheat (IMO) is the instinct. With some experience you can tell without looking that the gun will overheat soon and then you stop. Using semi-charged shots helps a lot. Also Scr is a stubborn one, if you go too rough on...

Nope scrambler is not op. A mk.0 scout getting killed by viziam with x3 comp dmg mods and 5% warbarge dmg bonus, you call that op? Well from what i noticed the acr can pretty much take a hvy head on and take him down.

Scr is in the drains atm. It just sucks against armor, also these cal assaults can now take on a laser weapon head on. Ofc it is all thanks to their nagging but oh well scr will survive. (Comparing the current Scr to the one before nerf)
