I haven't experienced any change to this - I still tap R2 and it brings up my secondary weapon, tap R2 again and back to my main. Worked like that last night and this morning.

It's not too bad, but I find the extra high and CPU/PG isn't worth the cost IMO - run Type-II until you get your B-series. Edit: in full disclosure - I do run a couple versions of an A-series fit with complex damage mods for Pub. ambush matches.
