I completely agree. I also think that the triages should be highlighted on the minimap after somebody gets taken down. This way they can judge whether there's a good chance somebody's coming to revive them and wait, or just respawn straight away.

I don't think the direct damage has been changed. What was reduced is the splash damage radius. I think this means that splash damage is less further away from the centre of the explosion, increasingly more so than before today's hotfix.
