They left them labeled as proto because Apex suits came before tiericide. Currently you can label them as Std+ or Adv- (which I like better because it's closer to ADV). Basically proto fits with basic weapons.

I'd say leave them be. Wasting time on Siper Rifles.. is nothig more than wasting time. Better focus on balancing (as they do now) important stuff that will affect much larger group.

You don't lose loyalty points and you never did. If this was the case, I would have -5 loyalty rank on my test alt. Yet it sticks to LR 2 since LR introduction even tho I log in there once a week.
