Its still handy in a fight with a carthum assault scrambler plus side arm of choice, and you really cant beat 3 second viziam flux uplinks for keeping blues spawning where you want them and choosing your spawn pads over everybody elses. You'll gain much more WP and therefore SP to grind out the amarr assault in no time. If you have no points in drop uplinks and just want to be a hardcore killer, then I would get the amarr assault. I have both maxxed and i find my self far more often in need of dropping links with the ak.0 logi rather than to all out slay with the assault. Redline for Thee, but no Redline for Me. I have two amarr logi's with diff equipment, plus a shaman apex. Many options to help the team win. Get some good links, r9's will do fine. The pro reps is where you can change a battle if you and 2 heavys can work together. My gun game is still kinda weak so I like the logi route myself.

Its primary weapons are being nerfed, which are most of the reason its so good, so it kind of is. It will still be very good though, Im sure. The assault is very powerful, and the logi is pretty neat, you can run it as a combat logi, with uplinks, hybrid triage/ammo hives, and a nanite injector being my favorite loadout. IMO if you are rep tooling with this logi you're wasting your time. You'll probably be happy with either choice.

Learned the ways of N4g from Alcina's mom Saw Alcina in a dress. I need to rethink my life. Min Loyalist.
