Use normal SG and shoot reds within 10meters. On laggy maps, SG has big detection issues. That may be your problem.

Tactical rifles are the most fun out of all rifles. If CCP's gonna add missing ones, i'll be happy. Ps. Tac RR should be like bigger version of bolt pistol. Just with different dmg/range.

The other thing is that armor suits feel better when you're fighting in CQC, or with multiple targets. In some maps there's just not enough cover for Caldaris.
