Bright Steel Horizons' Edge Proficiency V. 677	Posted - 2014.12.15 22:46:00 - [1] - Quote Ok so I got all setting for graphics and textures and such on low and have done speed test and ping tests on my internet connection and it's all good. But the game is soooo choppy lately. With the low frame rate (since I'm not teleporting I assume this is frame rate) I can't hit anything cause the guy actuallys does almost minny teleporting jumps while strafing and I can't track him at all. And my combat rifle rate of fire drops dramatically! To make it worse it seems like they don't have this problem cause they dont seem to miss, and it seems like I still get the slow down effect when shoot??? When this happens I swear my min scout runs as fast as a assault or even a heavy sometimes, it's like I'm in slow motion while everyone else is still moving fast... I have turned off the game three separate times now, rage quitting, because of this. Any suggestions??? Anyone else experiencing this too??? Dust 514, the BEST WORST game you can't stop playing.

Could have something to do with the new visual effects they added, could have something to do with the new orbitals, could be the new automatic inertia dampener. Blindsided by an instant death while in a 900hp suit? I've done everything I can google. Port forwarding, TV inputs, ect. Currently I've turned off Comms both in the PS3 menu as well as the game. That's made a big difference. I have 25 Mbps connection with < 1 ms jitter. The lag is reduced the most when I deactivate voice during game play, but I still see people teleporting as described which makes it so hard to aim. I've also been told that japanese players are the ones that lag you up... I don't really know. You can try to delete all your mail, some useless channels, (write them down) and turning your settings to low in the Dust settings. I forgot their name but it does seem to help, BARELY! Didn't see the slightest improvement in frame rate, but I DID notice that high detail textures don't load up til I'm right in front of a building or object, Legion just come already.... Set your goals high, and shoot for the moon; even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars.
