KAGEHOSHI Horned Wolf Dominion of the Supreme Emperor God-King KAGEHOSHI 11700	Posted - 2014.12.15 17:04:00 - [1] - Quote Each race's main rifle is supposed to have a different kind of behavior (assault, breach, burst, tactical) as its base variant. Scrambler rifle is base tactical, assault rifle is base assault, combat rifle is base burst, and rail rifle is base breach. In addition to each base variant, they are each supposed to get variants to mimic the other race's rifles. For example: the rail rifle has an assault variant to mimic the assault rifle, the assault rifle has a burst variant to mimic the combat rifle, etc. This information is from a CCP developer, CCP Remnant. Here is a link. Each rifle was supposed to eventually have a variant to mimic the others, though right now most of them only have assault variants. Right now this plan has been left abandoned, and incomplete. The Gallente assault rifle has all variants, while the other race's rifles have only the assault variants. The missing variants are as follows: Burst scrambler rifle Breach scrambler rifle Burst rail rifle Tactical rail rifle Breach combat rifle Tactical combat rifle Given how great a job CCP Rattati is doing with rifle balancing, I think this is feasible. Anyway, the thing on that list I want the most is the tactical combat rifle. It would have the 2nd worst range out of the tactical rifles, least damage per shot, fires as fast as the SCR, but is limited by a magazine size instead of heat. I'm imagining it as the scout rifle from destiny in my mind because it's brown like Minmatar tech, and semi-automatic. Why do I want that one the most? Because Dust has made me love semi-auto rifles, there is no anti-armor tactical yet, and it would benefit from my Minmatar assault bonus. Is there anything from the list you guys one? You just described the assault rail rifle. So, what would be the attributes of a Tac RR? Have you considered a career in costumed aggression?

The precision rifle seems like it's meant to be a sniper rifle, while tactical rifles are similar, they're more of a frontline weapon. Adding the precision rifle will involve a lot more work since it requires bringing in a whole new weapon model, but since they're ultimately different, I'd like both.
