I mainly use advance suites and when I feel like it a pro. Advanced racial suites are actually very cheap and good to fit. If a battle is going wrong or I want to really make some Isk I will use my dragonfly or server suit.

if there are at least three people in a squad I join them for a match, I normally leave the squad after the battle if they take too long to start a new one or do something else than skirmish

As a shotgun scout I can only agree with the post. I can also add that point blank shots do no damage most of the time which actually makes the shotgun worse. I will keep using it though just for the rush and get most of my kills with RE's.
