Honestly, if the gunner was in third person instead of first person, gunning would be so much easier without the need for buffing anything. It is just very difficult atm to have a good degree of situational awareness as a gunner.

As I have said many many times. Ships? No. You could never get a system that is fun for all parties. Stations? Yes. You're not competing for direct control of the same entity, and having station services disabled can be a huge pain.
