The team on that site is almost as notoriously bad as 'Dusters' news. Also anytime someone says that CCP and Dust itself is going to fail you generally do not listen to them.

Caldari suit with a flux? That's a good way to kill yourself. There is a reason why I switched over to gallente when uprising came out, I can flux myself and my enemy and still have a backdrop of armor.

I think CCP conveniently explains this away by saying this was a 'prototype' in reality it was probably the incarna engine that they could not fit into the PS3 and had to resort to the Unreal Engine. I am sure they lost of lot of development time ...

Symbiotic forks uses caldari commando, he is a good sniper so I think it's mostly about outputting damage. Also most people throw a rail rifle on that.
