I doubt this is happening to all the scout suits. Most likely either the Caldari or Amarr scout is going to be the old type-2. Even CCP wouldn't make a scout suit with a bonus to knives with only one weapon slot.... I think?

Yep, that's why I usually try to take out uplinks with grenades. Theres that short delay to (attempt to) minimize spawnkills where the person is cloaked. They spawned in right before you destroyed the uplink but you couldn't see them. Same thing...
