If you're really looking into the sniper role, I suggest the Gal Scout suit. Damps hide you from scouts, a cloak to traverse areas to get to ripe spots, and two highs for damage mods or a shield buff.

I've lost maybe some 4 million ISKies getting 20K Caldari LP. On the other hand, a Gallente alt would lose only some 2 million to get 25K G LP. That's sad. Anyways, I made up for it by making disposable alts to play academy. I guess you can do it...
