If you had to spam equipment to get this score I will never respect you.
Like the guy above me who got 9000 wp from spamming equipment for all the camping sentinels on his team.
My personal record was recorded and is in my description.
7162 wp with a Repair Tool!

I'm really not to sure how alot of these people are getting 5k plus war points. After the last nerf to logi in the warpoint department the most i've gotten a game was something like 4800 point but never 5k. Am I doing it wrong what am I missing here.

Spamming equipment? Perhaps you missed the kills and deaths I got from running about, repping, replenishing links and hives to keep my team anchored. I might have been getting tons because the WP system is stupid, but that doesn't mean I was just lounging about farming. People like you are why nothing is every good enough.
I believe the term scrub is applied correctly: someone who decides upon an arbitrary set of rules and holds others to those standards, even though they are not disallowed expressly by mechanics.
And then he has his record recorded in his signature. Your respect is worth less than nothing.

I tend to get my highest scores when I play with bad people. They can't aim so they can't steal my kills, and they eat up my uplinks like hotcakes. If my team sucks and if I can carry my team hard enough to not get red lined, I get an amazing amount of kills and wp. You don't really need to equip spam... As long as you put them in a good spot where they will be used and if they are not destroyed then a set of proto ones can last an entire game. Spamming equipment wastes time so try not to let them get destroyed in the first place.
I don't typically rely on my team mates. I think of them as more like distractions for the enemy to divide their numbers. As long as they are out in the field, and I don't have to take on 10 vs 1... 3 vs 1 and I can do pretty good lol. My meat shields. And if the game isn't a complete proto stomp I get alot of points. Longer games are better. I play like an assault logi. I will drop my links, rep hives and also rep occasionally but that is only half my points when I'm just killing everything else. I would probably get more points if I stopped hacking after soloing an objective... My #1 reason of death. Also Re's can be your friend if you know how to use them. Great tool if you can predict your enemies movement. Even if you are outnumbered, turn a corner and drop one. As soon as they come for you blow up the first wave and take down the rest with your gun. Lure them to your Re's. I play aggressively in a way where I am constantly trying to be in the middle of the action and take points but defensively when I am actually engaging the enemy.

This is why Dust is probably the best idea for a shooter. Because there are roles for guys to be if they aren't competitive in aiming a weapon. If you're not a decent shooter, you can pick up a repair tool and be damaging by amassing wps and getting OBs. Or, you can pick up a mass driver and spam. Or, you can cloak and wait for people to run past you and OHK them in the back.
There really should be mor epeople playing dust, tbh. That's why I don't understand players who have not found some sort of success yet.

I doubt anyone thinks it can not be done without exploits, but since we all see players exploit it devalues the experience for everyone, and the "skill" of the player really depends one what we consider skillful. If you are proud of your accomplishments that is really all that matters.
