I only run an unedited APEX Samurai Commando in pubs. I just swap the Sniper for a MLT Rail rifle BPO and the nanohive for some R-9 links. Go positive 99.5% of the time K/D wise and 100% positive ISK wise.

Why so much APEX bashing? Samurai is all I ever use in pubs and still have no problem killing proto fits from distance with standard rails. The problem is domination. Play skirmish and you'll rarely complain about roof camping.
