The LAV in particular and ground vehicles in general currently can't sharp turn (stick at 3 or 9 o'clock) without stopping. This needs a new control scheme. Weight/mass.

You were joined to a squad and the squad leader joined a battle. Have you never played as part of a squad? Also, even if you were not, it may have been due to the squad bug which was only fixed today during DT.
