In Eve, you can have multiple characters as well. However, only one player can receive the SP. My theory is that it's the same here, but haven't rolled a second toon to test. --GmE

In Eve, armor tanks can take more than a shield tank (begin flame war) due to the fact that shields passively recharge. Personally, I would assume the same would follow over Dust. And by the way...armor tanked Dominix here. --GmE
