So, I have noticed that the amount of epic events per game seems to go up in conjunction with my skill level at the scrambler pistol. Any tips for making it even more epic? What are some good pistols to use, in your opinion?

I was under the impression that the SP reset is occurring because the skill tree is dramatically different in the next build (may 6). Is that why it's happening or is it because of the "merc pack" problem (which i don't understand at all)?
