Sometimes pressing the Start button repeatedly will solve the issue. This one time it happened to me and when the color came, no gun corsair or even a gun in my hand but I could still shoot.

Each weapon needs to be fixed separately. They all have different purposes and pros n cons. Such as the Combat Rifle should be focused in short-mid range hence Combat. Forge guns need to be buffed since the charge isn't worth the kick.
