I would stick with Logi since it's fairly flexible play style wise. Heavy is extremely situational and on average a low WP earner. Low WP means less isk and SP per battle. You would be taking a pay cut just to survive a few more shots from a guy...

This post seems a bit confusing. Which specific type of LAV are you talking about? Because today I was blowing them up in 1-2 hits with the cheapest AV grenades.

It's fine with it's range and current damage. However that opinion is based around the size of the current maps. I think the Planetary Conquest maps will be larger. Not sure yet how the forge will handle playing through them.
