lets be honest here.
it ain a great game
it lacks alot of basic stuff...theres like 2 game modes ,,1 game mode for AFKing and and 1 for pub stomping lone player and newberries.
after doing a small update its now broken.
but i still go back on to play it.. even though my bullits are now painting the edges of my targets body as if hes dead.. but he just runs away.

My friends, right up until the majority of them quit due to Uprising.
I'm not just saying that to further some hidden agenda either. True story. I actually rather enjoyed Uprising, but without your friends, it's really not nearly as much fun. And now that they buffed all the guns, it's even more difficult to be a pure logi (no skills in weapons)
Soooooo. I'm going to go ahead and wait this storm out. if it doesn't get better by launch, well.. I hate to say all hope is lost, but it's going to be a tough pill to swallow. |

wouldnt you rarther pay 100$ for a fully polished dust514 ..on psn store or disk.
surely the game cant be set for official launch on may 14th. |

Not a great game.....Hello..... are you in there....Dust is a game...come on follow me now.....that is going to evolve similar to EVE.....CCP is going to tweak, improve and expand DUST into a world such that is rich with multiple layers of strategy and complex environments both on and off the battlefield

New stuff...opps we goofed on a couple issues...some issues corrected some you live with...oh...New build...opps some issues we need to tweak....some issues fixed...some you deal with...Wooh....new stuff again..cool ...new issues ...new fixes...over and over again...Why you ask.....To give your simple ass a deep meaningful game . Thats a viable option for PC game development, this is not a PC game
CCP needs to learn that lesson or this games player base will shrink down to a bunch of EVE fanboys telling each other its all going to be ok |

Pretty much this. EVE is a fairly unique game aimed at a different audience. The fact is, most people are staying because they have friends in DUST, or they still see potential here. There are plenty of great competitive FPS's out there and if it takes CCP 5 years to get DUST polished and release worthy, most people will have moved on. |

My bad i assumed you guys knew CCP is planning on this game being around in 10 years and your playing your same character in 10 years with weapons and enhancements they havent even thought of yet...like EVE never ending,,,,always new builds....never a polished , never a finished version...just always getting better and bigger. I assumed people that played DUST knew all that. |

when you download and play it...it will have 'beta game work in progress' on some menu |

Just because CCP is going to continue adding new content and polishing for the next 10 years doesn't mean they can release a poor game and still have it do well. We don't care about fancy graphics, cool sound effects etc.
We just want a playable game with good mechanics and gameplay, with a reasonable amount of content and customisation. |

I do not play nor like COD, BF or Halo. Have played them all and dont like them at all. I have no intrest in KDR in any game ever. I appreciate the skill the players in those games have and enjoy watching some gameplay from time to time. But I would rather stick pencils in my eyes than play those games for more than a hour. I love DUST. I dont care about graphic or sound. I care about the world the game is in. Give me layers and depth. Not a fast twitch JO session. Now Im done with this thread. |
