Not sure if your talking about EMP Grenades or Webifier Grenades. What your describing would be the result of a Webifier (reduces movement speed), an EMP grenade would be more likely to disable weapons/suit functions.

I can see Grid movement working for Infantry. But for orbital strikes and artillery bombardments, I'd think Lat/Lon would make more sense. Who knows how big these grids would be either.

If lamp posts are indestructible, why not use the same material that lamp posts are made out of for CRUS, Supply Depots, and Blaster Installations? Edit: PS3 still has untapped potential.
