I agree. I just find it funny that a sniper in this game cannot spec into shooting farther. In real life, a sniper gets better the more he practices, allowing him to shoot more accurately at greater ranges. Why has CCP not allowed this in the game?

I see, that's what I thought too. I didn't think there's much a sniper can do about detecting enemies far away. Sometimes I only see the name but not the body.
