I've sent more money CCP's way than any other developer. While I don't think I should be given that money back, I'd gladly accept such an offer. In any case, no more. CCP lost me as a customer forever with their weaseling out of the merc pack promises. And I spend a lot of time driving people away from this game now, when I used to pull them in. |

Hmmm.... probably not.
I spent $40 and I feel that I've gotten about that much worth of entertainment; and I'm still having fun and being challenged. There are not too many other games I have that are worth $40 retail that I play everyother day for 4-5 months and counting....
However, I don't think I'll spend anymore money, because spending more for anything less than an amazing game just doesn't feel right to me.

If I could sell the character I've built for more than what I've spent, I'd consider it.
If you have 14million sp, and have lost interest, I would be more concerned with the time spent rather than the money.
I probably spend around 10-15 hours a week on Dust, whereas I've spent less than -ú16 on the entire game. |

Believe it or not, this is the road that the gaming industry is headed down. They are just going too far with bilking consumers these days, more and more.
It's hilarious to watch companies, huge industries, and corporations behave in ways that make it obvious they fear no consequences to their ill-actions. It's even more hilarious watching karma catch up with them.
I imagine many a Japanese/Korean/Chinese excutive will be swan diving from skyscrapers once this particular bit of karma finally comes home to roost.
Thank goodnes for judicial branches... once a few of the numerous - way too freaking infuencial - citizen/consumer/civil/animalwhatever rights groups around the world get a hold of the tail of the gaming industry over this one.... even us players won't be able to make them let go until they've drained every last cent out of the storm of lawsuits that will most certainly follow.
Funny thing about lobbyists.... they've yet to figure out how to buy off karma. Not for a lack of trying, though. :)

If I could walk away with my money and never look back I would.
I play this game 70% of the time because of the money I invested in this game and the hope that someday it will pay off and this game will be worth it. 30% of the time I play this game because I enjoy it.
I tried to transfer a copy of the bpo's from my main character to my alternate and was flat out DENIED. why? cuz they want me to buy another merc and elite pack for my alternate. Disgusting!

i have spent $90 on this game (two merc packs and a veterans pacK) and yes this game has some problems now and it may persist for a while but in the end once they buff out the scratches and dings were going to have a monster of a fps but thats a big if and when |
