yeah, matchmaking doesn't exist here. Best bet is check the board at the beginning of the match and learn corp names so you have at least SOME idea if players are likely to be good or not.

Base skills first I run a MLT Gal Med w 1 ADV plate and 2 Basic plates and w armour and shields maxed I end up around 180 shields 675 armour (not exact #'s, give or take a few pt's)

You can get a lot from uplinks as long as you're not a dipshit and drop them in useful tactically sound spots. Easiest way is find a good squad and work together. And well, lots of practice lol

Listen to Lee, Up your core skills first, they're by FAR the most helpful. But other than that practice, pratice, practice, and try dif equipment. also don't always use the most expensive stuff you can buy, learn to rely on skill not equipment my...

If you're really hurting for isk I'd prob just drop the MLT dam mod, they're such low numbers that it's really not much more than extra cost, other than that not a bad starting loadout.

Any of the rest I can think of are just shorts for weapons RE - remote explosives CR - combat rifle FG - forge gun etc etc If you come across one that's not on one of the previous lists its likely its a weapon
