I think its based on the dmg you receive. 1000 dmg being done to you-10% for a passive hardener=900 dmg now being done to you. Of course thats only if a weapon has 100 percent efficiency vs the target with no mods.

Run and gun would probably be caldari with extenders and regulators. Caldari have more high then low slots and gallente have more low. I personally run Gallente assault, and I recommend it.

Well, it may only be a small increase but have to remember that each bullet is doing 2 more dmg. Thats a 180-360 dmg per mag. Not to mention the bonus you get from passive skills and or modules. The passive dmg increase from skills Is 3 percent...

Yeah, you'd think the armour repair module would save gorgons...nope. Should I spec into gallente ships for the maybe future race bonus? Or just get caldari?

I normally fly vipers for practice, but I tried a gorgon and it felt different to me. Maybe it was just a mental thing, but it felt larger, heavier...weird almost. Is it just me, or do they really fly in different ways? I'd like to know, because...

Its not too bad, you only went one level over what you need to unlock the profile damping and I think scan precision skill. Or was it the long range scanning skill? Euther way, you need 3 levels in it.

And remember, you do race specific DMG with the maradur skill (+4 percent per level) since you starter race is caldari, that means you get a bonus with rail guns.
