My guess is the current AR will get the same range as the breach and maybe the same dmg with a higher rate of fire. I'd also guess that the TAC and burst will be dropped down a bit range wise as well. so the only way I can think for the breach to...

I just wanna add, these changes are needed to truly have a end game. The ScR may get adjusted to be less effective at close range, but I'll bet you they won't complain.
