2. New player issues - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Easily the most confusing game I have dropped into in a long time. I am by no means saying that twitch skills and tactics are unimportant, but if they are going to retain new players, they HAVE to find some way to teach them how the skills and equ...

3. MCC campers. - in General Discussions [original thread]
Quote: Scrubs actually create a worse environment to gain new playerbase then AFKers. As a new player and a scrub, I'm not sure that is true. I'd rather get my ass kicked with a bunch of guys trying to get better by playing than just soaking...

4. Is this Catastrophic? - in General Discussions [original thread]
As a developer, I understand that they are funding the game by selling AUR in the beta. I get it. But, in retrospec, I think it was a poor choice. I just started this weekend, but if I had spent any real money on this game and then lost it during ...

7. New player with real problems. - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
I started this weekend and have struggled quite a bit with the aiming mechanics versus BF3. Glad to know there are others that are having trouble aiming. Of course that isn't as bad as chucking grenades when I am trying to switch weapons. :)

8. Annoying Noob Mistakes - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
For what it is worth, after reading through here, day 2 went alot better. Squaded up every mission, tried to stay with my squad. Spent more time supporting than trying to take everyone on. Hang in there Penguin.

9. Annoying Noob Mistakes - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
Don't worry Penguin... I went 2 and 23 in my first two skirmishes. They'll be begging you to join up if I'm around. If it hadn't been for reading your post, I would have never even thought about taking then random tank. This game is a whole new a...

10. First Impression - in Feedback/Requests [original thread]
A five minute guided mission where I shoot, capture, respawn would have been great. Felt like a total tool when I got to Alpha and realized that I had no idea how to capture it. I get the concept, but I didn't realize that I had to find the contro...
