Corp A wages 1 mill. Corp B wages 1 mill. Winning corp gains 1.9 mill. .1 mill is lost (plus destroyed equipment)... Am I missing something? This is how it is explained to me.

Corp CEOs and directors can give Corp isk to members of the corp. This is the only way it can be transferred. So theoretically, you could start your own corp, donate to it, then transfer that isk via your CEO to your other toons.
