The rail rifles actually pretty balanced I think. Once you start shooting you have to keep shooting or you'll end up having to charge it again which is all it takes to make the difference between winning or losing. So its either full auto or nothing.

I've been in those matches more then once but all you can do is either keep leaving matches till you get on the winning team that isn't spending 4 minutes running around spawn or just suck it up and go one man army or sit around as a sniper.
