basically without uplinks it will just be a case of die spawn at nearest CRU die again spawn.. then get farmed till the CRU is capped and then get pushed back to spawn.. instead of the idiotic CPM idea of NERF UPLINKS! why not.. BUFF MCRU ....

rep tool uses a stream of charged nanites(iirc) to HEAL friendlies.. maybe it should be able to lock onto hostile vehicles and use the nanites to cause damage but the range is 1/2 when used on hostiles.. (see BF3/4 and Repair tool on tanks)
