I highly doubt they will feel "Ace Combat-ish" therefore I'll personally probably hate them (I loathed how BF3's jets felt). If I had to guess, I'd say the controls will feel "cartoony" and nothing like a simulator at all. TL;DR - They'll fly ...

The pilot suit sounds intriguing, especially if paired with the jets once released, but since the jets won't be out for probably another 3 - 6 months, the pilot suit atm sounds pretty "meh."

I don't think player speed in general is fast. Now the strafe speed is another story. I do feel that strafing is too fast and along with low ADS tracking speeds and framerate issues causes aiming (especially with a shotgun) hard as ****.
