about the new "Neo" dropsuits being added to each of the basic frames? I know we had the Neo AUR suits at one point. Are these going to be alternative Prototype models, so we have a little more fitting diversity? I just haven't really seen anyone talking about these, and I'm just curious if anyone knows whether it's just more AUR crap, or if we're actually getting a couple 'new' suits to mess around with.
EDIT: Looking at the marketplace, since I never pay attention, 'Neo' is just all the AUR suits. If we get more of that crap that'll be a bit of a let down. |

Right now, AFAIR, its just the suits that had them in the previous build that have Neo suits. This way all of the current suits will fall in line. |

Commandon'ts are like skinny people who complain that they're fat....they annoy skinny people AND fat people....but ultimately no one really cares. |

I'm assuming the Neo suits will not be proto, but a step under - IE - level IV suits.

There are lots of 'Neo' suits already in game. It lets you use proto suits at dropsuit level 4. |

A step above advanced but a step under proto. Actually, stat-wise, 'Neo' and proto are exactly the same, and are both classified as prototype suits by the icon in the corner of their picture. The only difference between the two are that you get to use the Neo at level 3, while regular proto is at level 5.
Now, if you need a Neo suit to use proto, that means that you're not getting the level 5 role bonus that a regular proto user would get. This means that, while you get to use the same equipment as the other guy, the other guy gets to use it more effectively. |

Wrong. It lets you use proto suits at lvl III, not IV. |

So since I have Amarr Assault at Level V, does this mean I can use the Neo Proto suits for cheaper and also still get the Level V bonus as well? If so, that's beyond awesome. |

So far neo is just another way of saying Aurum, real money for suits. But yes it would nice if we had a few more Isk suits to play with but I have no hope of that in 1.2 since they are only really promoting the commando suit at the moment.
If there were new Isk suits I would have thought they would have published it at the same time as the commando. |

If I recall right the new neo suits are basically letting you try out the new specialization suits without having to skill into them. |
