I started using complex damage mods on my Commando awhile ago and plan to do so after the new update. I mean, I can get where you're coming from Fire, but with only one high slot and not many options I just can bring myself to using anything else.

I think the first obvious thing is dropsuit and weapon skin BPOs that you can place on your dropsuit or weapon. The dropsuit and weapons would still be consumable, but the skin would not.
