don't max out that profile dampening skill even though so many here seem to think it's a good idea >.> You're going to be shooting people in the face, and not jerking off in the hills like a sniper. edit: here's another thread where people...

443. what skills should i get for the assault class - in Rookie Training Grounds [original thread]
type-II assault suit, complex shield extenders, weaponry lvl 3 or 4 and a GEK. Once you have that down, you can work on light weap sharpshooter (increased range), reload, finish weaponry, maybe get some armor plates, and increase your AR skill. Y...

I'd just use a supply depot in the redline to figure it out. You can also damage yourself with a mass driver and grenades, so as long as you watch your hp you should have no trouble figuring this out. Since you want to visualize it, it's easier if...

I believe armor is better for anti-infantry because it is PG heavy. It is also able to repair its armor much faster than a shield tank can rep its shield. Armor tanks also have better damage reduction mods and great low slots, which allow you to h...

In case you're curious, I started working on the range of turrets in the range post. You can do some of the ones I didn't do if you'd like. I'll post more ltr if not. here is the stickied range thread.

Someone might want to check the small railgun damage again. I believe it says 100% on installations/vehicles, but that's just 100% of its installation damage. The best way is to shoot a supply depot or CRU at full shield once, and record what the ...

Range on small railguns is 299 m, large railgun is 599m. Also, small railguns take a tremendous damage nerf when shooting anything other than infantry. I don't know what it is for LAVs, but last I checked, (last patch) small railgun vs installati...

Max range of all large railgun turrets is 599 meters. Optimal seems to be 1-599 too. Did they remove the experimental sniper rifle from the game? If so every sniper rifle's range is 1-599 (optimal and max). Except the thale. I don't know what th...

You might also want to unlock the basic variant of the militia gear too. The basic stuff is usually exactly the same as militia, but it uses less PG and CPU (there are a few exceptions). Running 100% militia gear isn't a bad thing to do too. ISK...
