Yeah, I'm not reading four pages of this.
The assault scrambler rifle has recoil, and terrible hip fire spread. Even including it in the same category as the AR is ridiculous. It also has no skills to improve said recoil. Just throwing that out there. It's not a tremendously difficult weapon to use, no... but its limited range combined with recoil make any kind of medium-long ranged attack with it ineffective.
The AR has no such issues. Also, rare as it may be, the thing overheats. The AR does not. There's nothing limiting it's continuous spray of fire, not recoil nor heat management. It's clearly an easier weapon to use.

Calm down. We are discussing the various assault rifles right now. Currently, I believe they require the least skill out of all non locking weapons to use effectively. Just swipe their hit-scan beam across a red and profit. Simple, easy, and fit to every single starter suit in the game. Designed to be easy button to help rookies and act as a crutch for veterans who think they have some sort of 'skill.' This isn't the Olympics. Swiping a hit-scan high damage high rof weapon across a red is the single easiest thing to do in dust short of murder taxi-ing or swarms. |
