So I was playing the other day and feeling like not too much has changed. Vehicle control has gotten a little better, but it's definitely not in the "good" category. Still major problems with hit detection (particularly w/ shotguns... maybe ARs) and splash damage. Player control not too fluid, public matches filled with AFK bots.... throwing grenades doesn't feel very 'good', etc, etc. Blah blah blah you guys know all of this too. So why are YOU sticking around? Are you thinking things are progressing well? Is there something you are looking forward to? You hear something about a new feature coming into the game or new fixes?

Just curious. Tired of the grind...

It's not about time wasted but motivation. In any business, how motivated are you really going to be to want to do your job when you're dealing with whiny consumers that disrespect anything and everything you do? If you don't think the toxicity and venomous hyperbole on these forums doesn't create an unhealthy working environment, I think you're the disillusioned one. Even though this game hasn't lived up to a lot of our expectations, I don't envy any CCP employee for having to deal with us. In fact, they don't have to deal with us, they choose to. Just having a part of that community that only seems to stay around to impose misery finally leave could be a much needed change for the better.

Many QQ threads of late actually have pretty decent discussion in them.

The rest... I still don't believe they read that much of the forums.

Honestly... if people didn't care, they wouldn't waste their time posting on here. Its just that people are seriously frustrated with the lack of... well.. game.. in this game.

Everybody has the right to be frustrated, but instead of all the drama we have on here (some of it CCP could mitigate themselves) a lot of us could be a little more constructive. I care about this game as much as the next person and the last thing I want to see is our community destroying it from the inside out. Like I said in another topic, a part of me wishes that they'd shut down the forums every once in a while, but the though of this drama bleeding into the game where most of our community is oblivious to what goes on here, I snap to reality and realize that would only make things worse.

Whats the point of being constructive? You make a constructive post and they move to feedback/requests to die a slow and painful death.

You make a QQ thread and get 100 pages of replies and generally developers look at and listen to those threads.

Venom and hatred is the only way to be heard on these forums.

Oh I get it, you're one of those people that thinks they can impose their will through an electronic medium to create the illusion that your opinions matter. Petty insults, flaming, skirting issues, whatever it takes to make sure that everyone sees you as the alpha or some bull **** like that. You're right, who cares who you are? I certainly don't.

It doesn't have to be that way. Whether better moderation, or the player community actually trying to respect each other, it doesn't have to be that way. We may shoot, blow up, incinerate, stab and run each other over but at the end of the day, we're all playing a game.

Thats up to the devs... if they actually cared to post they could spark some serious constructive discussion. But they won't and don't care.

So instead its easier to just complain about how bad the game is... its certainly more fun than actually playing the game.
