It's not about time wasted but motivation. In any business, how motivated are you really going to be to want to do your job when you're dealing with whiny consumers that disrespect anything and everything you do? If you don't think the toxicity and venomous hyperbole on these forums doesn't create an unhealthy working environment, I think you're the disillusioned one. Even though this game hasn't lived up to a lot of our expectations, I don't envy any CCP employee for having to deal with us. In fact, they don't have to deal with us, they choose to. Just having a part of that community that only seems to stay around to impose misery finally leave could be a much needed change for the better.

Vehicle control has gotten a little better, but it's definitely not in the "good" category. Still major problems with hit detection (particularly w/ shotguns... maybe ARs) and splash damage. Player control not too fluid, public matches filled with AFK bots.... throwing grenades doesn't feel very 'good', etc, etc. Blah blah blah you guys know all of this too. So why are YOU sticking around? Are you thinking things are progressing well? Is there something you are looking forward to? You hear something about a new feature coming into the game or new fixes? Just curious. Tired of the grind...

Might give it another shot after a month or two but the game is still basically a glorified beta. Plenty of people having fun, but just as many bored of the grind, especially when that grind can be invalidated overnight with an update or ninja edit. If you're not having fun give it another look in a couple months. One day this game will be good -- I hope.

I'm already 'behind' at just 11 mil SP, but it's not all about SP in EvE (after about 40 mil SP)... can't imagine it will be in DUST. ...at least not when people are in the 50 mil SP+ range.

Jut a bunch of whiny noobs who cry cause their ar cant kill a tank, so they must have 2k damage nades instead. 3 of them. More often then not CCP breaks 3 things when they TRY and fix 1. CCP breaks vehicle skills and instead of fixing it, they go, "Um, nvm. We want it this way. Here tanks, ANOTHER nerf :) now bend over..." CCP is incapable of correctly tweaking weapons and such without creating another absolutely OP flavor of the month. This game makes me rage because of the instability and the whole EVE link so far is just a gimmick, no matter how much i want to say otherwise. All in all, the only thing that really made this game is potential and it is now a year later....Thing about potential is you have to reach it, otherwise you just have a flop. Seems like people are finally starting to reach that line where they are tired of waiting and taking 5 steps back for every 1 step forward with CCP. Literally, aside from PC, nothing has changed in this game for a year, other than maybe a couple extra weps and gameplay is finally STARTING to get better due to less lag and fps drops. Im just very patient and think of the E3 build whenever I play and laugh at better days.

Only thing its truly achieved is giving noobs something to complain about, and make the vets paranoid of falling behind so they find ways of getting it without actually playing the game. (ie AFK'ing)

How are the forums holding back progress exactly? Companies contract underlings to perform peon work if your suggesting that sifting through the forums is taking up CCP's time. Then if you really think the forums are holding CCP up, how does that not do anything but negatively reflect on CCP for inability properly to manage PR.

You might have a point if the average forum rager could actually go to CCP in person and rage similarly to a person who asked for no cheese and got it anyway at McDonald's. However that's not the case.
