I honestly cant consider a tanker skillful unless he/she is above a 7kdr!! I know many of you say it doesn't matter, but I really think its a big part of ranking any class. Even if your able to take out other tanks, if you cant survive against infantry your failing in a big area. I have no list.

Flawed, what if th tanker doesn't run tanks 24/7, some tankers have the ability to run n gun also.

For a lot of reasons, you are correct.

However, the primary role of the tank is to destroy enemies, either in vehicle or out. If you are not doing that well, then that is an indictment of your tanking.

So for tankers, K/D can be used as a valuable metric, although like any stat, it does not tell the whole story.

Legends K/D is over 7, and that is with all the PC he played. That is crazy good.

This is a complicated topic.
You have the best armor and shield brawlers, best rails, best generalists, best 'panzerjaegers', and best missiles.

Covert and Psychotic are the best armor brawlers
Exmaple is the best shield brawler
Void is the best shot with a rail
Bob and I are the best generalists (most adaptable to any situation but not the best in any)
General Grodd is best missile tank

Anyone who argues with this is high because time and time again, it's proven.

Nobody can hit as many targets as accurately with a rail at close range as void
Nobody can get more kills, on average, than Covert or Psycho
Nobody else can kill every time they intend to with missiles like Grodd does
Nobody who specialized in one tank style can beat Bob or I in a duel bc we just fight them with the weapons they don't have (that's why bob and I have the best duels)
Nobody can use a gunlogi with a blaster as well as exmaple- nobdoy. You'd think he was in a Madrugar with a scattered ion cannon from the amount of kills he gets.


So no, there is no such thing as 'top 5 tankers' and there never will be because if you take the most adaptable tanker and compare him to a specialist in his field, the generalist will never compare. You can't compare these things because there are 'good tankers' in their own right, but there hasn't been a best tanker since the late Slap.

KD/R means ****, doesn't matter how you sugar coat it, in this game it does not measure skill, because 99% of KD is build up through squishing blueberries, non stop. Players of lesser equipment, SP amount, squad strength.

so much bs behind kills on this game eliminate KDR from being an acurate stat for gauging a players ability. Auto aim, and grenade spam are not play skills, this is a **** system.

Whenever I see legend he always has a great squad, stopping AV from getting to him easily, AV for enemy vehicles. SO his KDR is owed to a great support squad.

i run every tank in every combo, and often ill swap them out mid match. the only thing i lose to are proto swarms. their range is unreal.

what upsets me most is that id never gotten a chance to fight any of the guys listed here in a tank battle. im not saying im good, bu when i can fight off three madrugars in a gunnlogi and kill the all... its got mean something. (probably that they just sucked)

Duna has a K/D over 20.

He doesn't get listed by other tankers because he is a pubstomper, and nothing more. You know who tanks for NS in PC? Not Duna.

That Legend was able to put up big numbers while playing as many PC matches as he did is impressive.

Any statistic is open to interpretation, and K/D is no exception. It is not the be all, end all stat, but it is important for certain classes. Snipers, Tankers and Heavies can all be evaluated at least partially by their K/D.

I tank almost exclusively. I don't run infantry unless the AV is so oppressive that I am spawn trapped. In which case I grab my Thales and start shooting swarm users.

I know im the only true rail gun tanker in the game so far... and I hold the title for one of the best tankers and one of the hardest to kill... but im no #1... im probably 5-10 holder.

You and him have very different styles of play. He's a lot more aggressive than you are. You probably make more money from tanking than he does, but he probably causes more grief than you do.

Not saying one is worse than the other, but I did like his fits enough to steal a few of them for myself. Haven't done that since Slap26.
