As of the 1.3 patch that was supposed to make the game more balanced as no new content was addd or removed. -Ambush OMS is gone- We scream, beg and plead for more game modes and during a "balancing patch" you remove a game mode. -100 CCP -Academy- +10 for its creation -20 for the new academy. Ambush only; tighter redlines then normal ambush; 8v8; 50 clones. -Flaylock Pistols- Less total damage, less splash damage, less splash radius, shields hold up better to explosives. And yet i can still use the gun as a sidearm. +5 CCP On to the report Dust 514 is supposedly a sandbox shooter were everyone is completely different based on how you spend your skill points. Yeah i would say they did this pretty well no two individual players have the same skills which makes every merc unique. Major problems we have had since closed beta are still here.

Everyday a new person downloads dust for the first time and gets on and gets raped indiscriminately. "Well that game was garbage back to CoD." Introduce matchmaking of some kind. SP based; Gear based; skill based; it doesn't matter to me how you guys do it just make it happen. you will find those new people who log onto this game will stay if they don't get pubstomped every time they try to play.
Make a real merc system for PC matches if you are not in the same alliance or corp you have to pay the mercs to ring. Do something similar to Armored Core 5 merc system. This will give the game a more mercenary feel. So those players who don't want to actually be in a corp but want to make a name for themselves can do so.
Aurum makes the Dust world surive. I'm tired of seeing "oh your just a pay to win scrub because you use aurum items." Without players using those items and using RL money this game dies from no funding so instead of whining about pay to win think of items use would actually want to pay aurum for. I want to see complex items that reduce CPU/PG for every module type.

Everything else radar said is pretty much true. They could have released this patch a week after Uprising 1.0 and fixed the last few months of blatant imbalance. |

Eh, rather them give me a reason to have all this isk, pc districts, make it so I can buy a pack of 50x Balacs AR's or 50x Mintchip's Shotties for 100 mill or even better make the districts have loot like officer modules that drop each day along with other treasure (regular moldules/suits/weapons on % chance, so certain districts are coveted most because they drop 50x Balac Officer Assault suits on a 5% daily drop chance. THIS would cause quite a stir as holding certain districts would become the most heated battles in the game. Make it |

The flaylock was fixable during the daily reset. Caldari Logi fix could have been included in 1.1, was pretty obvious even at that point.
Speaking of the caldari logi... it didn't need that kind of CPU nerf. Fixing the bonus alone would have been fine. |

Disagree. I like the nerf if you aren't taking a low slot and giving it another equip. 1 suit getting 9 highs and low in game is not balance. |

I'm wondering if there isn't a push to drive some folks back OUT of the suit to even things up a bit. The same with other items that take over the game due to imbalance. |

Your down a merc so u click a hire merc button to see who is mercing themselves out they have a rank base on how good they have done in the past week and you buy them. Thier rank determines their pay grade as well. Was my favorite part of the game. Take that system and apply it to this game and you have a very successful way of getting ringers for pc matches based on role skll and payment required. |

OMS was ambush with 80 clones supply depots and CRU's then turrets that dropped at certain time intervals. Now with the removal of OMS we have ambush 50 clones depending on map, with a supply and cru and after a certain amount of time turrets drop. Like it was early chromosone. Which means it is a loss of a game mode. Edit The exact opposite of what we have been screaming for even in closed beta. now they have consolidated even more of the new players in pubstomping matches against the older players. |

I don't think you're an Eve vet that is also not a troll. Didnt say i was an eve vet. But isnt there modules in Eve that have lower fitting costs but do the same as other similiar items but cost more. Interesting... As far as weekly balancing goes that NEEDS to be done or else dust continues to die because everyone flocks to one thing CCP changes it then everyone cries respec. if you dont give people the time to flock into something nobody whines about its overuse then continue to whine of lost skll points from a change. |

Pretty spot on post. Can't disagree to anything really.
- On AUR stuff - the hardcore players/buyers of AUR are running out of the need to buy it. Bring in something sort of 'End Game Content' as MMO people like to call it. Some people may not want to skill into another role, but would rather enhance the one they've invested in. Ex: Color schemes, Flashy Suits, Suits w/o roles that are unique (like a suit with 2 grenade slots)
- OMS - Just bring it back or remove regular Ambush and just have OMS |

It is combined meaning one option has been removed. Once there were 2, now there is 1. Use your fingers if that helps. Not everyone wants the turrets and supply depots on a map of deathmatch. |

This is supposed to be a serious thread i want/NEED a dev to see this if i could sit down with a higher up to tell him exactly what we need to see dust grow again. To see the game i have wasted 10 months playing die because of bad balancing, lack of game diversity, impossible new player survivability, and weak EVE intergration. I just feel if my voice could actually be heard dust would be so much better for our small community. |

yes i do if a general consencious of dust players who play this game believe something is OP change its stats slightly. Im not talking a CCP type nerf where the gun becomes unusable afterwards but if everyplayer in dust is talking about hoow obviously OP a gun is why does it take 1 month for something to be done about it. LLAV obviously OP. Tac rifle was op. flaylock was op. Assault forge guns are op. Thread are/were brought up daily about all of these weapons doesnt that show the community agrres something needs to change. The old players say" adapt or die" that is a good statement i stand behind however it is completely ignorant to these new players. The game is dying if we dont create a way to be eased into this game to allow the new players who like this game a chance to get to the competitive level the vets are at. OP weapons ruin the game and if all the new people see it as op and some of the older people can back their QQing up. CHANGE IT. |

Although small nerfs are preferable, I hope they make flaylock more like the other sidearms. SMG is borderline as strong as a primary but due to hitreg issues, its hard to determine how borderline it is.

I agree this is an issue and should be dealt with faster but judging whether a weapon is OP or not based solely on forum spam is not acceptable. CCP is slowly getting there, lets hope CCP doesnt croak to crutcher outcry.

I agree but as others have said, its hard to make a decent MM with such a low population or else we'll have those 5-8 minute queues just to let the system make a perfect match while proto pubstompers could be stuck in MM even longer. |

Blatant P2W is blatant. I really dont have anything to say other than "Its not happening". The community has been asking for more cosmetic things or anything generally "cool". Personally I have wanted to get the Blood saga vet package but held off since I didnt want a Caldari suit nor a sniper rifle. Hopefully CCP will let us choose among several packages or even a custom package option.

~3,500 players daily. I highly doubt that the same people play all day everyday so... 3,500x24=84,000 or some **** like that.

I wasnt talking about the overall players, I was talking about the average users logging in never exceded normal standards of 4-5k during peak server times. 4-5k average during peak times is no different from 4-5k players pre-uprising so server stress is out of the question as to why hitreg became trash. |

There was a dev post in the feedback forums today concerning the new matchmaking system and there a lot of positive things in it. A mercenary contract system would be nice, too. It would have the added effect of corps being able to see if an upcoming opponent is trying to merc out their battle. |

OMS was a terrible mode, all the ambush junkies I know avoided it like the plague. More than a few times the lobbies were mostly empty when I went into that mode, CCP likely saw that barely anybody played it so they did some kind of hybrid merge with regular ambush.
Still not sure what I think about the ambush now, played in it all last night but was too busy getting royally pubstomped playing solo by stacked proto teams bringing in tanks/murder taxis and dropships. |
