Dust 514 is supposedly a sandbox shooter were everyone is completely different based on how you spend your skill points. Yeah i would say they did this pretty well no two individual players have the same skills which makes every merc unique. Major problems we have had since closed beta are still here.
1 gun is always king everytime they try to balance something. We should not have to wait for an update for you guys to fix an obviously broken weapon. Do weekly balancing for everything. if on the forums there is 25 threads daily about an OP weapon obviously it is OP. In about 2 months of doing this everything should be balanced there will be no QQing everyone wil be happy and you guys can actually work on getting new content out.
Everyday a new person downloads dust for the first time and gets on and gets raped indiscriminately. "Well that game was garbage back to CoD." Introduce matchmaking of some kind. SP based; Gear based; skill based; it doesn't matter to me how you guys do it just make it happen. you will find those new people who log onto this game will stay if they don't get pubstomped every time they try to play.
Make a real merc system for PC matches if you are not in the same alliance or corp you have to pay the mercs to ring. Do something similar to Armored Core 5 merc system. This will give the game a more mercenary feel. So those players who don't want to actually be in a corp but want to make a name for themselves can do so.
Aurum makes the Dust world surive. I'm tired of seeing "oh your just a pay to win scrub because you use aurum items." Without players using those items and using RL money this game dies from no funding so instead of whining about pay to win think of items use would actually want to pay aurum for. I want to see complex items that reduce CPU/PG for every module type.
As much as i want to say the gun mechanics of this game suck it truly doesn't. Yeah hit detection is whack sometimes but its not because of the gun mechanics. I want to say its from server lag making ping more noticeable from player to player so when you see bullets registering without hitting the character model its because there is intense amounts of ping. At least that's what i think. That is something that needs fixed but i have no idea how to make that happen.
More statistics. How hard it it to show statistics on the leaderboards that you guys have somewhere in your database. The last couple of events have been based on stats we cant even see but you made sure you had them written down somewere. I want to see more stats. Show me Assists, CRU,SD,Turrets,Objectives captured/destroyed/dehacked/defended, Healing Given/ recieved. On a daily, weekly,monthly, lifetime scale. Us gamers like our stats now show them to us.
25 threads about an OP weapon? Mmmm, I'm sure there is more than 25 players that suck as hell so I don't think that's a really info about a weapon
