Whenever "jump packs" are introduced there should be racial variants and the minmatar one should just be 2 HMGs taped together and pointed down, using the kick to get the player airborne
Every part of CCP should stop working on what they're doing now and focus on this |

That's brings to my attention that in order for it to be viable and balanced further it would definitely need 50% more hp than a fully sp invested tank |

here is how i belive this idea could work, and for each race
Gallente: this looks and sounds like a basic jetpack, but fueled by plasma, it would be the, stealthiest jetpack in the game with a short amount of in air time. Caldari: this jetpack would be the most visible on your radar considering it uses thousands of volts of charged electricity to power up. though it would have the longest in air time, and faster recharge time. Minmatar: this would use a type of special fuel that can be ignited even with no oxygen (maybe plasma infused) this jetpack however it would be more of a jump pack that quickly boosts you very high, then at the last second brings you to a soft landing, it would have the shortest in air time. Amarr: ??? i don't know how lazers would hold you up, or make you fly considering they are still just focused beams of light ???
i still gotta figure what the racial bonuses would be, and i probably won't come out with exact stat's on the jetpacks. Also i wanna try and give the jetpack it's own small gun without it being the main weapon you use, instead you would use your regular and sidearm weapon, and only for... maybe jetpack on jetpack combat you would use the turret. |

I'd rather see aerial drones than jetpacks. Like in KZ3, throw down a beacon and the bot will patrol the perimeter around it. I hate jetpacks. If we're talking adding to the air game, how about some light armor single seat attack ships or dropships with bombing capabilities? |

Make it shoot ob's. Make it fly faster than a llav can drive. It should also have a flame thrower. And it automatically fires flux and contact grenades when you're shooting. That should make it balanced. |

Especially if you could re-hack the cannons to turn them back on. Then the fight would be in multiple tiers.
Squad 0 attacks MCC and disables Null Cannons. Squad 1 caps and repairs Null Cannons. Squad 2 snipe enemy MCC squad AND counter snipe.
Would be badass if CCP through this in the game as a random "Just let loose" event lol.
