I agree ... the rest of the gaming world should take a lesson from the dust community and just threaten to quit while trolling the forms about how much the game sucks....you know take the high more mature road |

For anyone that doesn't know what the DSR nerf is, here's an example. For all I care, they should nerf it harder and add an inital sway. Quick scoping shouldn't be a thing and I've even seen newberries trying to do it in Dust 514. I thought cancer wasn't contagious. |

Its the parents fault. Had to say it, be a parent and make sure your kid is mature enough to have the toy. If they act like this then they need a listen in manners. Military Academy would help. Kids at developing ages need to understand this game along with others like it do have an impact on your brain. So parents take the game away and make them get a freakin summer job. |

They could also pay attention to the ESRB ratings and not buy an M game for an underage kid. Instead they do, find out they made a bad decision, and blame the company for making an M rated game to save face. Some people shouldn't be allowed to procreate... |

But... for what i read and as i understand it.. was more a "suggestion" than a threat.. trust Gamespot to take things out of concept, they like doing that alot. |

I would compare it to the TAC AR nerf. Every try hard in the game used and abused the TAC AR to the point that other people were using it as an "I win button" because the hipfire spread. After the nerf, there were a select few that still use it and deadly accurate with it. Single shot weapons will always dominate any FPS because of the player skill that goes into it. But since the range buff on all weapons, especially the full auto AR, the TAC AR is back to where it started in Chrome. It's still fun to use and effective, but when a regular AR can fire back out you from across the map, why bother? |

As someone who still uses the tac i can all but laugh at those idiots who don't realize that their so called weapon barely tickles me at anywhere beyond 60m range while i slam their heads with carefully placed shots.
And now that everyone's back to the basic variant or other guns i can finally take advantage of the higher range.

Quick scoping is for fairies. And am glad that most FPS games keep away from that crap. Its OHK, but not reduced in range as a shotty is. which makes it a fairy prairie. |
