How about a "tie" button? I think we deserve tie buttons.
"win button" is (obviously) another word for OP. And in my experience in dealing with proto FG's and how they can sink a shot at me when I have my fuel injector active and am 900 feet above them, there's a clear issue here. Even if FG's have that kind of range, being able to make those shots seems far too easy to so many proto FG's. There should at-least be more sway when they are trying to aim upwards with a heavy weapon that deals thousands of dmg in one shot. |

Proto AV is not so much OP as it benefits from the really bad rendering problems that are in the game right now. FG's are fine, high damage, low ammo, forced to wear a fatsuit, needs a logi for ammo, etc.
Swarms maybe could use some adjustment to the way they track, but only because I have been hit at some ridiculous distances around corners. Clipping through certain objects is a problem as well. Damage wise, maybe a two percent reduction but even then I wouldn't be saying nerf swarms. There needs to be a scrub AV weapon, and the swarms are it for now.
The real problem is the render distance. Too many times some scrub with a swarm is able to fire at my tank, and I get neither a visual on the swarms, or the swarmer themselves, which means that I effectively have no counter other than run away.
If they were to render, at least I could fight back.
Oh, and proto AV grenades would be more balanced if they took longer to refresh from a nanohive. And maybe had slightly higher fitting req's, to enforce a trade off for rolling with an AR and an AV option.
Leave the FG alone though, I love ground duels with heavies with the balls to come and take on the tank 1 v 1. |

Yip proto av is op enough but combind with team work its f@#king op this leaves us with 3 options
1 nerf proto av (bad idea)
2 nerf team work ( worse idea)
3 introduce proto havs ( boom great f#@king idea). |

Don't understand why you don't have infantry kill the AV.......that's right you vehicle guys believe you should be indestructible. Requiring a Squad of 6 communicating to take you down. Beef up the vehicles IDC just as long as my FG flips your ass upside down. |

As an AV specialist with proto swarms, I will tell you I try to match my gear to the situation. It's cost effective, and makes for an enjoyable fight. Same goes for my infantry load outs. You know whose ruining it for you? LLAV drivers. When you have clown cars tougher than good tanks trolling the battlefield, you're gonna get my proto AV to the face. I don't have time to hit a supply depot and downgrade my gear for your militia tank. Lol

FG in the redline, just back up.
FG on a rooftop is much more difficult, especially if you don't have a sniper to supress him long enough to try and get a dropship with infantry up to them. Even that is normally a death sentence, as we all know how soft dropships are. A good rooftop heavy packs AV grenades for just that purpose.
Would be really nice if there was a way to get up on those towers without having to use a dropship, as then infantry could scale up to try and put work in.

Agreed 2 guys maybe 3 should have to team up on HAVs. But if that was the case then everyone would be pub stomping with HAVs. One man speced into AV should be enough to extremely weaken a HAV to the point it runs. Nades you got to get close enough the tank should see you. FG don't let a fat ass walk up on you they are slow after all. A good sniper would be able to keep them at bay. Swarms.....easy enough to avoid. |

You do realize the difference in damage between proto and advanced AV isnt much, right? And its more the skills reducing Forge charge time by 25% and increasing the damage, or in the Swarms case giving you an extra shot per reload that make the difference, not the guns?
I hardly ever use my proto AV unless I see a dropship I feel I need to take out in one shot. The difference in 2 shotting or 3 shotting most tanks or LAVs isnt much when my charge time is 1.8 and I can hide behind a wall while I charge. |

I have mixed feelings about this... AV vs HAV is a bit more of a complex issue then most people give it credit for. |
